BreAd's focus was on setting up a recycling plan for the regions Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi / Kvemo Svaneti. The first phase consisted of setting up a decision framework for choosing the right systems for separate collection and MRF separation of recyclables of household waste. The framework comprises technical and financial feasibility, recycling market assessment, national and international experiences and institutional aspects. The results were reported and presented in a workshop in Tbilisi on October 30st, 2018.
